Chelmsford has good road links via the A12, M11 and A120 to the rest of the country. Stansted Airport is only 20 minutes away by car, and this and the east coast port of Harwich, makes the continent and the rest of the world within easy reach.

Getting to London, should you wish - like many Chelmsford denizens - is a breeze; trains run every few minutes or so during peak times and take around 40 minutes.  It is operated by "One".
